Our partner operates Database Environments OnPrem and in hybrid and cloud scenarios to internal customers taking into consideration internal security rules and governance guidelines.

Therefore, we are looking for the following competences:

• Ability to support customers on infrastructure setup in the role of the technical first contact.

• Ability to implement and deploy MongoDB installations in an Openshift environment.

• Ability to analyze issues in a standardized and automated environment.

• Motivated to keep the standards and avoid customized solutions.

• Collaborate in a virtual and in a dynamic environment speaking mostly in English.

• Ability to translate business demand and requirements into technical solutions.

• Weekend work and on-call required when necessary.

Requirements

We are looking for a skillset and experience covering the following areas or tools:

• Experience in MongoDB administration on an Openshift plattform, especially in the following areas: deployment, configuration, upgrades, tuning. Experience with the MongoDB Ops Manager is beneficial.

• Linux administration experience, including performing hands-on work in the areas networking, hardware, virtualization, containers, scripting, and IO subsystems.

• Knowledge about the standard IT Processes in large companies. e. g. ITIL

• Experience with challenges in a high secure data center.

• Experience with cloud vendors like AWS or Azure

• Experience with containerization platforms like Openshift or Kubernettes.

We algo give preference to providers that also demonstrate competences in:

• Experience in developing scripts to automate frequent tasks (preferably using Ansible, shellscripting and Python)

• Experience designing systems that deal with large data sets and a huge volume of transactions.

• Experience in architecture and design reviews, performance audits, and database migrations.

• Experience with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Advanced communication and presentation skills

• To be business-fluent in English language (speaking and writing).
