Job description

IT IPS Web Operations operates environments OnPrem and in hybrid and cloud scenarios to internal customers taking into consideration Client security rules and governance guidelines.

Therefore, the following competences are expected:

• manage Microsoft IIS and related products in high security data center.
• Identify and automate repetitive task.
• Enhance existing automation process.
• Perform administrative tasks, coordinating requirements and operation with other departments involved.
• Focus on security and guarantee that security measures are implemented properly.
• Perform general technical troubleshooting, initiate, and implement measures to prevent errors, initiate escalation processes if necessary.

Requirements

• 3+ years Microsoft IIS web server administration.
• Experience in Tomcat administration.
• Experience in PowerShell scripting.
• Understanding in web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, SSL).
• Knowledge in Web server performance and security tuning.
• Knowledge in Administration and monitoring tools.
• Strong teamwork, decision-making, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge in Agile working mode.
• Experience in Data Center operations.
• Knowledge in ITIL Foundation.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Client gives preference to candidates that also demonstrate competences in:
• Knowledge in cloud technologies Microsoft Azure / AWS.
• Knowledge in Docker or OpenShift.
• Knowledge in Data Streaming platforms.
• Experience in Apache HTTP Server on Linux administration.
• German knowledge (speaking, reading, and writing)
