Senior Scrum / Release Train Engineer

Job description
• Work in CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Pricing initiative as Release Train Engineer / Project Manager in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Facilitating communication between stakeholders, problem-solving, and risk management
• Fostering effective communication within the team, promoting collaboration and transparency
• Planning and Coordinating the PI (Program Increment) events and Sprint deliverables
• Ensuring all team members are aligned on goals and deliverables
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and facilitating retrospectives to enhance processes and performance
• Tracking and reporting on defined metrics to assess the initiative’s progress, driving informed decision-making
Requirements
Educational Background
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
-Master’s degree (preferred) in Project Management, Business, or Agile Development.
Experience
-5+ years of experience in project management, release train management, or similar roles.
-Proven experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or a comparable role.
-Hands-on experience in CPQ systems and pricing initiatives, such as Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, or similar platforms.
-Experience in planning and managing Program Increments (PI) in a SAFe environment.
-Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, Rally, or VersionOne for tracking deliverables and managing sprints.
-Prior experience in facilitating large-scale Agile transformations is a plus.
Technical Skills:
-Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile principles, and Scrum methodologies.
-Proficiency in planning and coordinating PI events, Sprint deliverables, and roadmaps.
-Familiarity with CPQ processes, pricing configurations, and integrations into ERP or CRM systems.
-Knowledge of metrics tracking and reporting (e.g., burn-down charts, velocity, feature progress).

-Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment on goals.
-Skilled at problem-solving, conflict resolution, and fostering collaboration.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing stakeholders and team interactions.
-Strong facilitation skills for retrospectives, planning events, and team meetings.
Risk Management:
-Proficient in identifying risks and creating mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Continuous Improvement:
-Passion for promoting team retrospectives and improving processes.
Certifications
-SAFe RTE Certification (Release Train Engineer) or SAFe SPC Certification (SAFe Program Consultant).
-Project Management Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2.
-Certifications in Agile frameworks (e.g., CSM - Certified ScrumMaster or PMI-ACP - Agile Certified Practitioner).
