QA Tester

The objective of this role is to ensure the reliability and quality of the client solution, working closely with the team of product and software engineers to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, contributing to the delivery of high quality software.

Cross-cutting responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and user stories so that, based on this information collected, they can design detailed test plans;

• Run manual and automated tests with the aim of verifying system functionalities, usability and performance;

• Identify, document and report problems and bugs in the software, describing them in detail, including steps to reproduce the problem;

• Maintain updated documentation of test cases, test procedures and test strategies;

• Develop and maintain the battery of automated tests with the aim of increasing test coverage and area efficiency;

• Look for opportunities for improvement in the QA area, including investigating new testing tools and techniques;

• Develop and maintain test cases and plans;

• Responsible for complying with the policies and procedures of the integrated management system in force at client, including information security.

Requirements

Technical skills (hard skills)

• Level of English B2;

• Knowledge of automated tests and automation tools;

• Knowledge of programming in C# or Java;

• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies;

• Knowledge of robot framework.

Previous experience

• Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role;

• Experience in test automation;

Qualifications to perform the role

• Training in IT, Automation, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar.
