Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer whose main tasks will be:

- Explore, develop and implement ML models to improve the functionalities of our product (www.metric.pt).

- Translate the use case into a data and modeling strategy, adding data sources and identifying gaps

- Use AI expertise to creatively solve a problem.

- Work with real data and closely with a team of telecommunications and software experts to build our product.

Responsibilities:

- Bring creative problem solving to the company's technological and product development.

- Develop, implement and optimize ML models to enable product functionalities

- Apply or develop AI models in known use cases (computer vision, natural language processing, llm, knowledge graph, etc.) to extract information and knowledge. In particular, we are planning to work on a project related to Neo4j and knowledge in grateful and GNN will be an asset

- Build, test and improve optimization and planning algorithms

- Integrate models with various data source APIs and backend infrastructure

Requirements

- Degree in an area with Machine Learning/AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics. Master's/PhD is a plus.

- Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture

- Knowledge of Python and libraries (Pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, spark, tensorflow, etc.)

- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new technologies

- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong partnership and collaboration capabilities
