Embedded Software Engineer ( Embbeded Senior C / C++)

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of embedded software applications, leveraging your expertise in C/C++ and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement embedded software using C/C++ for various hardware platforms.
Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand system and software requirements.
Utilize Mathworks toolboxes (Matlab, Simulink, etc.) to create and implement MBSE models for embedded systems.
Apply object-oriented design (OOD) concepts and techniques, including UML or SysML, to develop software models.
Lead and manage technical aspects of development teams, ensuring project completion within deadlines and budget constraints.
Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
Maintain and document existing codebases.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in embedded systems and software development technologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience developing embedded software using C/C++.
Strong understanding of embedded systems hardware architectures and operating systems.
Solid knowledge of Mathworks toolboxes (Matlab, Simulink, etc.) for MBSE applications.
Experience in executing projects using MBSE methodologies.
Proficiency in object-oriented design (OOD) concepts and techniques, including UML or SysML.
Experience in leading and managing technical teams (a plus).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English.

Hybrid 2x per week in one of this locations: Lisboa, Tomar, Coimbra, Viseu, Porto e Vila Real
