Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Digital Solutions team in Lisbon, as part of the Global Business
Services unit. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with AWS, Java-based applications, and a strong
understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment processes and infrastructure as code (IAC).

Key responsabilities

· Support and maintain Java-based applications deployment on AWS.

· Utilize AWS CloudFormation and CodePipeline for application deployment and infrastructure management.

· Configure and manage Apache as a frontend proxy for JBoss applications.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

· Plan and execute the deployments on AWS leveraging Kubernetes (EKS) for orchestration.

· Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application deployment and infrastructure

Requirements

Importante - Fluency in English is a must.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 3+ years of AWS administration experience.
Deep knowledge of AWS services, best practices, and optimization strategies.
Strong understanding of underlying web and network technologies (HTTP, SSL, DNS, Application Load Balancer, etc.).
Linux administration, shell scripting, python and ansible for automation and scripting.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, GitLab).
Proficiency in storage management, and user provisioning.
Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code platforms such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
Proven experience enforcing security best practices, managing IAM roles, configuring firewalls, and ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and other industry standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Proficiency in storage management, and user provisioning.
Experience defining and implementing AWS network resources, including VPCs, subnets, and route tables.
Familiarity with high-availability AWS design patterns, including application load balancers, API
Gateways and auto-scaling groups.
Experience supporting network infrastructure tools such as VPNs, network threat management,vulnerability assessment, and firewalls.
